I hear you ...

I hear ya ... my reviews suck!  You wanna read less reviews and more me!  I got it!

So here goes ... bangs!  My little trick to looking fresh for spring and hiding my AA flare.  Thank you bangs you have truly saved me this week. I woke up Monday morning looking like a teen who had way too many chocolate bars.  I thought about calling in sick, changing my name maybe even moving out of the country but then it hit me..................

They just fell ... and landed perfectly on top of AA.  Genius!

Baby Lips!

With the all Maybelline Baby lips buzz happening I decided it was time for me to swap my plain jane burt’s bee’s chapstick for a tube in pink punch.  Boy was I stooped!

Pro’s:

-under $5 at Walmart

-Smells yummy

-Great colour tint

Con’s:

-Dries out my lips!!  I find myself having to reapply very often (and you know what that leads too … bright reddish lips by the end of the day!  Not so hot!!)

Overall this product does not live up to its claim of “Lip renew formula and 8-hr hydration for visibly renewed lips in 4 weeks” . If you are looking to swap chapstick for chapstick- this is not the item.  It is only good when layered over my trusted burt’s bee’s chapstick for a touch of pink! .  

Nice Try Maybelline …this time you get 3/10 ( 1 point for price/ 1 point for scent/ 1 point for colour)!

Hell no!

My dearest friend requested I blog about a topic we heard on 99.9 virgin radio as we were driving in to work today.  So today’s post is dedicated to yours truly!  The topic being … have you failed at life if you are 30 single with no kids?

Heck no! Actually HELL No! 

Life is like a white board …. Only you decide what to put on it and when you get there.  Live … travel .. see the world … make babies … get married  they all come at a different times for everyone.  As long as you are happy timing is nothing but a number!

“I'm not sure what the future holds but I do know that I'm going to be positive and not wake up feeling desperate. As my dad said "Nic, it is what it is, it's not what it should have been, not what it could have been, it is what it is."

It is what it is … you decide. You’re not, I’m not and no 30 year old single childless woman is a failure in my eyes!  Live Laugh and enjoy!
